Hospital Noted for Overall Patient Satisfaction and Highest Community Perception of Quality |

Sharon Hospital was recently recognized with the 2006 Excellence through Insight Awards in the less than 100 bed category for Overall Patient Satisfaction and Highest Community Perception of Quality by HealthStream Research™. Sharon Hospital was awarded this honor for its commitment to excellence in patient care. Sharon Hospital was chosen for these awards based upon receiving the highest patient satisfaction ratings in emergency department, same day surgery, radiology, outpatient, inpatient and intensive care from among HealthStream Research’s clients, as well as exceeding industry standards.
In addition, Sharon Hospital was awarded for making the commitment to measure and improve its brand in the marketplace. Measuring consumer perceptions of quality aids Sharon Hospital in understanding the relationship between the hospital, patients and consumers by measuring top-of-mind awareness, perception of quality (image), hospital preference, hospital use and
customer loyalty. Hospitals that score high in these areas exhibit stronger levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
